Join us on Tuesday, May 22nd as we hear from renowned web standards expert Eric Meyer, author of numerous books on CSS and related technologies. Eric will guide the audience through a brief history of web design, review industry standards, discuss some of the topics currently causing 'tension' in the community, and provide a glimpse into the future of web standards. His address will be part of a dynamic evening that will serve a dual-purpose in recognizing student achievement, as The Web Association will award its first college scholarship, and finalists from the Click! High School Web Competition, and AG Interactive/CSU Marketing Challenge will be recognized. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn new techniques from a legendary web expert, while mingling and networking with your peers and promising young students from the region who are interested in careers in web technology. The evening's gourmet menu will include spring rolls, goat cheese & spinach streusel, sesame chicken morsels, and garlic studded meatballs. A cash bar will also be available.
